Apple is releasing updates to their consumer notebook line today, the MacBook. The most noticeable update is the processor. The MacBook now sports an Intel Core 2 Duo, available in 2.0 or 2.16GHz flavors.

Hopefully the will be updating their MacBookPro line soon. The release of the Santa Rosa platform by Intel immediately fired off the rumor mill on when Apple would push that processor into their notebook line.
