Weekend Relaxing

We have really nice weather in Birmingham today. Mid 80’s and partly-cloudy. I was able to spend most of the morning doing yard work, which is a nice break from the usual routine of sitting in front of a computer.

My friend Seth, who also evangelises standards here in The Magic City, has started updating his site more often. He has written his backend from scratch using PHP and just added a comments system. Who knows, maybe one day it will join the ranks of WordPress and MT. Check it out if you have a chance.

City Stages is adding more and more acts each week, and the schedules are being updated regularly on their site. I am really getting excited about being able to attend this year. They recently announced the addition of Drive By Truckers, who I have always heard about, but never heard, so that should be fun.
