Just A Good Ol’ Boy…

The General Lee
Memorial Day weekend, the Wife, the Child and I took a quick holiday to the Great Smoky Mountains. The weather was great, the mountains were beautiful and a good time was had by all.

There is a new shop in Gatlinburg that was opened by Cooter, the mechanic on the Dukes of Hazzard. As a kid, growing up in the South, the Dukes of Hazzard were tha bomb. Watching the show brings back memories of spending Friday nights at my grandparent’s house, eating popcorn and watching the Dukes lead Roscoe and Boss Hogg on an all out chase around the county.

So when we were driving into town and saw the car parked there, I just had to snap a picture of it. That, combined with the release of the Season One DVD last tuesday…well, it just couldn’t get any better than that.
