Comment Spam
I am in Mississippi for the Holiday and have yet to find any WiFi here in Meridian. I may go wardriving later today just to see what I can turn up. So I have been using AOL dialup to connect to the Internet, and cannot seem to get a connection higher than 28.8 kbs.
I awoke this morning to find my inbox full of messages. The kind that are generated when a comment is posted here. There were about 200 of them.
When the recent wave of comment spam hit, I thought maybe I had flown under the radar. Turns out I was just a little farther down the list. I have disabled comments until I get back to Birmingham (or at least to a faster connection) to do some work to block the spam.
If anyone has any suggestions, use the contact form to e-mail me.
