SXSW Interactive 2005 Panels PodSite

This morning, the long awaited (well, by me anyway) schedule for the SXSW Interactive Panels was released. Since I am leaving Austin on Monday and missing a day and a half worth of panels, I will be able to make the most of the conference by knowing ahead of time what panels are when and which ones I will not be able to make.

One thing I did last year was create a text version of the panel schedule and throw it on my iPod. This let me take a look at what was coming up without having to open up my laptop and find the schedule online or fiddling around with the paper schedule that you are given at registration. I guess you could say it was an early predecessor to the podSite.

Well, this year I took it a step further and created a podSite of the SXSW Interactive schedule. As of now, I only have the Panels and Evening Events included, but may possibly add other information as it becomes available.

Feel free to download a copy for your iPod (zip format, 8kb).

Never heard of podSites? Check out www.podSites.com for more information.

I think next year I’m going to convince them to “hire me as a speaker so I can get a free pass. It’s really bummer to miss this once again. Next year I’ll be attending for sure, if I can get my design business up (I’ve always wanted to write off traveling expenses).
