SXSW Metroll

In the spirit of microformats, I am going to build out my SXSW Metroll here. The idea of microformats was revealed to me as a result of two of the more interesting panels I attended: Emerging Semantics with Eric Meyer and The Elements of Meaningful XHTML with Tantek Çelik. There are some real possibilities of using these in real client projects and I look forward to exploring them further.

So here is a rough draft of my metroll. I will eventually move it to a seperate page, but for now this will do. Some of the people on the list I already knew from last year, and I have marked them with an asterisk (*).

I am sure there are others but I will have to add them as I remember them. If I met you, and you aren’t here, let me know.

Hey, Jeremy–great to see you (albeit briefly) again this year. Hope the trip back was a safe one.

Somehow I managed not to meet you. I know from the Flickr photos that we must have been in close proximity on a number of occasions but alas, ’twas not to be.

I’m very sorry we didn’t get the chance to meet up in person. Let’s make up for it in 2006. Then I can thank you personally for the PodSite.

Not sure how that happened either Jeremy. I was chatting and hanging out quite a bit with Andy Clarke and Jon Hicks at Buffalo Billiards Saturday, even had lunch with Andy and Ian Lloyd Saturday.

    2006 it is then.
