Vulcan Officially Unplugged

Kinetic Crew at Vulcan Park

Today was the launch of the free wireless internet access at Vulcan Park here in Birmingham. Most of the Kinetic crew headed up to the top of Red Mountain to attend the press conference, soak up some free WiFi, and chow down on some pizza.

They had a great turnout with lots of people just hanging around, browsing the web, and enjoying the great weather.

The WiFi connection was excellent. We started out on the patio right under Vulcan, then moved over to the lawn under a big oak tree with some shade. If you have a chance, be sure to get up there and check out the park. It has the best view of the city!

Jeremy - you’ve made it big time - saw the photo of you at this in the Bham News the other day.
