37Signals has just opened the doors on its newest Web app, Campfire. Its a web-based, real-time group chatting app that keeps transcripts and has file sharing.

It is a much better format for “conference-chats” than using a chat program. Trust me, I have been in group chats with 4 or 5 people and it is not a fun experience.
