FlickrExport 2 On The Horizon
I love taking photos. I love using iPhoto to manage my collection of over 7000 images. I love sharing some of those images with my friends and the world on Flickr. The thing that makes my photo sharing life easy is the FlickrExport plugin for iPhoto. It allows me to upload my photos directly to Flickr from iPhoto, as well as title, describe, and tag them. I can also create a photoset if I am uploading a batch.
Now there is the promise of FlickrExport2 in the near future, and screenshots have been posted by one of the developers to get some feedback from users.
Some of the additions to the tool are the ability to send a photo to groups that your are already a member of when you upload the photo. When I upload photos now, I have to manually submit each one to my groups, or use the Organizr to submit them as a batch. It will be super handy to be able to do this from the export interface.
The other big improvement is tagging. FlickrExport will pull the tags you have used on other Flickr images, and they will be searchable.
This looks like it is going to be a great update to an already great tool.
