Taylor Hicks Homecoming

We decided to take in the festivities at lunch today and hit the Taylor Hicks Parade as it rolled down 20th Street. Afterwards we headed down to Linn Park for some ceremony and to hear him sing.

The set the stage up on the edge of the park, right across from City Hall, and there was not much room in front of it. More than half the people there had to stand behind the stage (and behind the speakers). I was able to sneak down front for a few pics. Click the image above to check out the Flickr photoset.
