We will make an exception to the backpack rule as follows: if you are bringing a laptop in a normal, laptop bag with none of the contraband items listed on the site, you may enter. I will share this with security people tomorrow at the meeting, but keep in mind it is a last-minute change, so ask people to be patient and understanding, especially on friday. The rest of us aren't so lucky since <a href="http://wadeonbirmingham.com/2006/06/14/city-stages-2006-very-silent-auction/" rel="nofollow">City Stages doesn't allow backpacks</a> for our laptops. Jeremy’s lucky because he has access to a Palm for wi-fi. The rest of us aren’t so lucky since City Stages doesn’t allow backpacks for our laptops.
