Apple Releases Bootcamp Update

Apple has released an update to its Boot Camp Beta 1, pushing the version number to 1.0.2. Although there is no official documentation on what has changed in this update, some are speculating that it includes revised WinXP Mac drivers.
At one time I was going to install Boot Camp on my MacBookPro, mainly to be able to test websites in Windows browsers and a maybe play a few games. Instead, I decided to go the virtualization route with the help of Parallels Desktop, which just hit version 1.0 a few weeks ago. So far, the experience has been great and I am planning a more in-depth review of it soon.
If you were thinking of getting Parallels Desktop, make sure you snag it before July 15. After that date, the price increases from $49.99 to $79.99.
