Apple has updated their homepage with an image promoting the new MacBooks now sporting Core 2 Duo processors, making them 25% faster than the previous versions. However, the Apple store is still down. Odd. Their site is rarely updated is this manner.

Some are suggesting that a red MacBook could be released to support the Project (RED) initiative, similar to the recently released RED Nano.
