I missed this when it launched about 2 weeks ago, but if you receive an Powerpoint file in your Gmail account, you can view it as a slideshow directly in your browser, without having to download it first.

This is probably a precursor to the forthcoming presentation app that Google plans to add to their Docs & Spreadsheets suite later this summer.
