City Stages 2007

Streets are closed downtown, workers are scurrying around with scaffolding and cable, and the smell of funnel cakes and turkey legs is the air. It must mean City Stages is here. We will be heading downtown tonight to catch Corey Smith and Steve Miller Band. I might try to sneak over to the Legacy Credit Union stages to catch some of the Whiskey Falls set. I watched them at the City Stages Unplugged event earlier today and they sounded great.

Here is a video clip of them singing Seven Bridges Road by the Eagles.

If you are in town and looking to hear some great music, head on downtown and check out City Stages. You can also hit up the City Stages website to get a complete schedule for the weekend. If you can’t make it, there is always the City Stages Flickr Group.
