College Football
Nine days and counting. My beloved Mississippi State Bulldogs will kick-off the 2007 College Football season by hosting one of the top teams in the country (according to pre-season rankings), LSU in a nation-wide, Thursday night broadcast on ESPN.
It should be a good game. Many State fans are anxious to see how our team will do with a more seasoned offensive line and receiver corps. Our backfield should be solid with returning starter Anthony Dixon. Our defense is a big question right now with the loss of Quentin Culberson. We have several players that should step up to fill in nicely.
If you are a college football fan, check out these college football helmet schedules that are posted over on the Mississippi State Sports Blog. There are seperate PDF files for each conference, and a master Excel spreadsheet with all the conferences on seperate sheets.
One of the things that I am really excited about is watching the game in HD on the plamsa that I won from Blingo.

Me too, Jeremy, me too.
Having a veteran OL in the SEC is H-U-G-E. Especially against a front seven like LSU’s…should be a good game, and a helluva kickoff to the season.
(Full disclosure: I am an Alabama alum and (obviously) fan.)
