At the special event held today at San Francisco’s Moscone West Center, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that Apple would be refreshing or replacing its entire lineup of iPods.

Apple officially renamed its flagship iPod today, giving it the name iPod Classic. The iPod Classic supports a new full metal design and is even thinner than the current model. The capacity has also increased significantly, now sporting 160gb of storage - enough for 40,000 songs. This newer model will be only $349 and sport the new enhanced UI.
