At the special event held today at San Francisco’s Moscone West Center, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that Apple would be refreshing or replacing its entire lineup of iPods.

The final iPod announcement was for the iPod Touch. The new iPod touch is 8mm thin, and is roughly the same size as the iPhone. It as the same interface as the iPhone, with Coverflow, movies, touch controls, Photos, etc.

The iPod Touch also has Wifi and will sport the new Safari Web Browser. This is basically shaping up to be the iPhone minus the phone features. The wifi will also allow you to view YouTube videos.

The iPod Touch will come in two sizes: 8GB for $299 and 16GB for $399 and ship in a few weeks.
