Apple held a special media event at San Francisco’s Moscone West Center where CEO Steve Jobs announced the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store.

The iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store will allow you to purchase songs from iTunes using the new iPod Touch. It allows you to access the full range of the iTunes Store. When you dock your iPod Touch, all new content will automatically be synced to your iTunes.

The iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store will also be available to iPhone users. Also, they are partnering with Starbucks. When you are in or near a Starbucks, you will get a special icon in the iTunes Mobile Store that will allow you to purchase songs playing in Starbucks, and even take a look at the last 10 songs they have played and buy them on the spot.
