Apple Drops Price of iPhone

Apple held a special media event at San Francisco’s Moscone West Center where CEO Steve Jobs announced the a price drop for the 8gb iPhone.
The Apple CEO announced that as of today, the 4GB iPhone was being discontinued and the 8GB would see a price drop of $200 to make it more competitive. That is a price drop of more than 30% barely 2 months after the product originally launched.
If you recently purchased an iPhone, you can have the difference refunded if the new price was set within 14 days of your purchase and you make the request within 14 days of the new price being announced.
