Apple Refreshes iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano
At the special event held today at San Francisco’s Moscone West Center, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that Apple would be refreshing or replacing its entire lineup of iPods.
To start off, the iPod Shuffle would now be available in new colors, including the (RED) color.
The iPod Nano received a complete redesign, making it smaller in every way. The screen still has 320×240 (204 ppi) and supports the same resolution as the iPod Videos. The UI has been updated to feature album art and even CoverFlow, which is controlled with the click wheel. Three games will come bundled with the Nano, and other games will be available for purchase, including Sodoku. The Nano will also be available in 2 sizes, 4gb and 8gb. The 4gb will only come in silver. The 8gb will be available in all colors. The battery supports 24 hours of audio playback and 5 hours of video playback.
