Birmingham TechReach
IPSA and TechBirmingham are teaming up to create TechReach. The goal of the program is to motivate High School students into a technology career. This inspiration is provided by TechReach Speakers who go into a classroom and talk about Technology in their particular profession.
TechReach speakers talk about their job and how they use technology to be creative, productive, and make a living. They also show that Technology affects many career paths that include Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Information Technology, Chemistry, Health, and the Arts.
If you are in the Birmingham (AL) area and might be interested in participating, head on over to our site and sign up. We aren’t committing anyone to anything yet, only seeing how much interest there is before moving forward. Ideally, we would like to have a system in place by Fall 2007 to begin sending people into the schools.
