Same problem with no fix on GPS with 3.1.3 on a not jailbroken iPhone 3GS. Maps does not show GPS blue dot fix, my Navigon Nordic is useless. Reboot does not help, disabling data does not help.
So i tried to figure out what s causing the problem

1. Normal reset with restore from previous backup did nothing
2. Full reset to Factory default, everything work perfect, i then waited with new installs untill next day and both Maps and Navigon are working
3. Started to install all my bought apps, waited for day again...Maps and Navigon are working
4. Installed the all new Wordpress 2 client...GPS dead...Maps and Navigon are useless again
5. Uninstalled Wordpress 2, no change...GPS still not working
6. Reboot does nothing
7. Full reset to factory defaults....everything is working again
8. Installing all paid apps ...reboot and testing GPS in both Maps and Navigon after every installation
...works perfect
9. Installing Wordpress 2...GPS again useless

...anyone else having that problem???

I was having the same issue, at Church of the Highlands it wouldn't let me check in inside the church (or on the side walk) only the parking lot.

I have a 3GS as well and I've noticed for the past few weeks that Google Maps have definitely been less accurate than it used to be when placing my location. I just went to confirm this and the iPhone has my position a good 2-3 miles away from where I actually am. I also have practically no signal, so I guess I'm stuck in triangulation mode as well and not GPS.

This looks like the next generation GPS - where you should or would like to be instead of where you actually are. Take this as an example. You were at Babies-R-Us and... well... you know Mr. Wang's has a seriously rockin' buffet. That is where you should have been.

I made a similar journey.

It didn't take long for me to clearly understand how much those "indispensable" plugins were costing me in terms of time.

Zip zip zip. Zip.

It's not that Chrome is benchmark faster. It's Noticeably faster.

Thanks for the quick & easy tutorial, Jeremy! Worked like a charm. Also, you may want to link to the Blackberry & Andriod versions of the Google Voice app!

No, that is only if you want to change your existing Google Voice number to a new number. If you just want to associate Google Voice as the voicemail service of an existing number, you can do that for free.
