WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 Available
The folks over at WordPress have released WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 for people to install and test. I am going to have a 2.7 sandbox set up and keep it updated as new releases come out. This will be a significant release of WordPress, espeically with the complete overhaul of the admin UI. The new UI is almost complete in this beta, and there are several glitches in some browsers. They say the best experience for this release is using Firefox or Safari.
They also announced that the final version will not be released on November 10 as they are behind schedule about 2 weeks.
I will do some posts talking about the setup of my sandbox and initial thoughts on the beta soon.
